OUR VISION

To provide a welcoming and inclusive Pre-School where all children feel confident to explore their naturally curious minds and are valued, loved and cared for within a stimulating environment.

OUR STORY

As a long standing Harrogate Pre-School, Little Crickets forms part of many families within the local community.

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS

Established in 1974 as Harlow Hilltop Pre-School, Little Crickets has a long standing history of providing first class early years education and is one of the most highly sought after pre-schools in the Harrogate District.

We are a non-profit registered charity managed by a voluntary Management Board of Parents/Carers. Little Crickets is privileged to have an incredible team, some of whom have been with the Pre-School for decades!

Regularly inspected by Ofsted, Little Crickets ensures the quality of care and education we provide meets the highest possible standards. We are also registered as a provider of childcare on the Early Years Register and the Childcare Register to provide care for 18 month to 4 year olds.

Little Crickets is incredibly lucky to not only have the tremendous support of its existing families but also that of its committee and the wider Harrogate community. Together we aim to provide the very best in early years education.

WELLBEING

The wellbeing and safety of your child is our top priority at Little Crickets Pre-School. We follow strict policies and procedures to ensure that our facilities are clean and safe, and that our staff are trained to handle any situation.

Our staff are fully trained in first aid and safeguarding, and we have a designated safeguarding lead to ensure the wellbeing of all children in our care.

We also promote healthy habits and hygiene practices, such as handwashing and covering coughs and sneezes.

Outdoor play and activities are always encouraged. Our Harrogate Pre-School boasts a lovely, fully secure external space.
